Refund Policy

Thank you for booking your travel experience with Inside Himalaya. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, and no-show situations are handled for our tour packages, hotel stays, transport services, and adventure activities.We understand that travel plans may change, and we aim to keep our refund process transparent and fair.
1. 🧳 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible via email or phone.

  • 7 or more days before the start date: Full refund (excluding transaction charges, if any).

  • 3–6 days before the start date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.

  • Less than 72 hours before the start date: No refund will be issued.

Some promotional or discounted tour packages may be marked as non-refundable. These conditions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

2. 🏔️ Company-Initiated Cancellations

If Inside Himalaya cancels your booking due to:

  • Bad weather or unsafe travel conditions

  • Low group size

  • Government restrictions

  • Operational reasons

You will receive:

  • A 100% refund, OR

  • The option to reschedule your tour or stay for a later date.

3. 🌦️ Force Majeure

Under this Refund Policy, no refunds will be issued for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Roadblocks or strikes

  • Pandemics

  • Government actions

However, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your booking or offer travel credit whenever possible.

4. 💳 Refund Process

      All refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

    • Refund processing time: 5–10 business days

    • Transaction or service charges (if applicable) are non-refundable

5. 🏡 No-Show Policy
  • If you fail to arrive at the scheduled meeting point or hotel check-in time:
  • The booking will be treated as a no-show

  • No refund will be provided

  • Missing the start time of a tour will result in forfeiture of the full booking amount.
6. 📝 Changes & Rescheduling
  • If you wish to change your travel dates:
  • Rescheduling is free if requested 7 days before the start date

  • Date changes within 3 days may involve additional charges or may not be possible

  • All changes are subject to availability.
7. 📝Updates to This Policy

Inside Himalaya reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page along with the updated effective date.
