1. 📜 Definitions
“Company” refers to Inside Himalaya.
“User” or “Customer” refers to anyone who visits our website or books a service.
“Tour Package” includes organized tours, treks, experiences, or any itinerary sold or arranged by the company.
“Stays” include hotels, homestays, tree houses, camps, or any accommodation arranged by the company.
“Services” include transport, guides, local experiences, or any add-on services offered.
2. 🧭 Scope of Services
- Inside Himalaya acts as both a direct service provider and a facilitator for certain experiences, accommodations, and activities.
We work with trusted local vendors, service providers, and property owners to ensure smooth experiences for customers.
3. 📅 Booking Terms
Bookings can be made through our website, phone, or in person.
All information provided by the customer must be accurate and complete.
The company reserves the right to accept or reject bookings based on availability and suitability.
Some services may require a minimum advance payment to confirm the booking.
4. 💰 Pricing, Payments & Taxes
All prices are listed in INR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
The customer must pay the advance amount specified at the time of booking.
The balance payment (if any) must be completed before or at the time of service delivery.
Any additional charges (such as extra meals, upgrades, personal expenses, or late check-out) are the responsibility of the customer.
5. 🧳 Cancellation & Refund Policy
Customer-Initiated Cancellation
7+ days before the scheduled start: Full refund (minus transaction charges).
3–6 days before the scheduled start: 50% refund.
Less than 72 hours: No refund.
Company-Initiated Cancellation
- If the company cancels a tour or stay due to unavoidable circumstances, customers will receive a full refund or rescheduling option.
Non-Refundable Bookings
- Certain promotional stays or packages may be marked as “non-refundable.” In such cases, no refund will be processed.
6. 🌦️ Force Majeure
Inside Himalaya is not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Strikes
Lockdowns or travel bans
Political unrest
- Extreme weather
In such cases, the company will offer rescheduling options wherever possible, but refunds may not always be guaranteed.
7. 👥 User Responsibilities
Customers must follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the company or local partners.
Customers are responsible for carrying valid ID proof and necessary travel documents.
Any damage to property or violation of local laws during the trip will be the customer’s responsibility.
8. 🏡 Stays Policy
- Standard check-in and check-out times apply unless stated otherwise.
- Guests must respect the property rules and maintain decorum.
- Any damage to the accommodation will be chargeable.
- Smoking, alcohol, or loud activities may be restricted at certain properties.
9. 🚐 Tours & Activities Policy
- Tour itineraries may change due to weather or operational reasons.
- Adventure activities involve inherent risks; customers participate at their own risk.
- The company is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by external factors (like roadblocks, landslides, etc.).
10. 🧭 Third-Party Services
Some services may be delivered by partner vendors. Inside Himalaya is not responsible for service failures or incidents caused by third parties but will provide support and assistance to resolve issues.
11. ⚠️ Liability & Risk
- Customers acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of travel and adventure activities.
- Inside Himalaya is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
- Liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific booking.
12. 🧾 Insurance
- Customers are advised to arrange personal travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, or delays.
- The company does not provide travel insurance by default.
13. ⚖️ Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Himachal Pradesh.
- Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through discussion or mediation.
14. ✍️ Amendments
Inside Himalaya reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services means acceptance of the updated Terms.
